Michael Fassbender fondly known as Fassy made his debut as an actor in the film 300 (2007). It was in 2008 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the film Hunger. There was no turning back after that and Fassy at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the British Independent Film Awards for Best Actor for Hunger which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Fassys career so far are 300 (2007), Hunger (2008), Fish Tank (2009), Inglourious Basterds (2009), A Dangerous Method (2011), X-Men: First Class (2011), Prometheus (2012), Frank (2014), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Alien: Covenant (2017), X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) and Dark Phoenix (2019) to name a few. Fassbender son of Adele and Josef Fassbender was born on 2 April 1977 in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg. He attended Fossa National School and St. Brendans College both in Killarney. In 2020, he was listed at number 9 on The Irish Times list of Irelands greatest film actors.
