Mike Mignola

Michael Joseph Mike Mignola (mɪgˈnoʊlə; born September 16, 1960) is an American comics artist and writer who created the comic book series Hellboy for Dark Horse Comics. He has worked for animation projects such as Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the adaptation of his one shot comic book, The Amazing Screw-On Head.He also wrote the screenplays of the 2004 Hellboy film adaptation and its 2008 sequel Hellboy II: The Golden Army, together with their director Guillermo del Toro and will co-write the script for the reboot film, Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen which was announced in May 2017.
