Milica Bogdanovna Jovovich professionally known as Milla Jovovich made her debut as an actor in the film The Night Train to Kathmandu (1988). It was in 1991 she gained recognition as an actor with the film Return to the Blue Lagoon which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Jovovich at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Scream Award for Best Science Fiction Actress for Resident Evil: Extinction which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Jovovichls career so far are Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991), The Fifth Element (1997), The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999), Resident Evil film series (2002-2016), Zoolander 2 (2016), Future World (2018), and Hellboy (2019) to name a few. Milica Bogdanovna Jovovich, daughter of a Soviet Russian actress Galina and a Serbian doctor Bogdan Jovović was born on December 17, 1975, in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR. She attended public schools in Los Angeles. Forbes determined that she was the highest-paid model in the world in 2004.
