BIOGRAPHY

Miranda Jane Richardson, professionally known as Miranda Richardson made her debut as a lead actor in the film Dance with a Stranger (1985). It was in 1992 she received the breakthrough of her career with the movie Damage which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Miranda at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for Enchanted April which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Mirandas career so far are Dance with a Stranger (1985), Empire of the Sun (1987), Damage (1992), The Crying Game (1992), Enchanted April (1992), Tom & Viv (1994), Fatherland (1994), Sleepy Hollow (1999), Chicken Run (2000), The Hours (2002), Spider (2002), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), The Young Victoria (2009), Made in Dagenham (2010), Belle (2013), and Stronger (2017). to name a few. Miranda Richardson, daughter of Marian Georgina and William Alan Richardson was born on 3 March 1958 in Southport, Lancashire, England. She enrolled at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where she was trained for acting in film, television, and theatre.
