Naomi Ellen Watts professionally known as Naomi Watts made her debut as an actor in the film For Love Alone (1986). It was in 2001 she gained recognition as an actor with the film Mulholland Drive which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Watts at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Chicago Film Critics Association Awards for Best Actress for Mulholland Drive which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Wattss career so far are For Love Alone (1986), Mulholland Drive (2001), The Ring (2002), 21 Grams (2003), I Heart Huckabees (2004), King Kong (2005), Eastern Promises (2007), The International (2009), The Impossible (2012), Birdman (2014), St. Vincent (2014), While Were Young (2015), The Glass Castle (2017), and Luce (2019) to name a few. Naomi Ellen Watts, daughter of Myfanwy Edwards and Peter Watts was born on 28 September 1968, in Shoreham, Kent, England. She attended Welsh language school, Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni, Thomas Mills High School, Mosman High School, and North Sydney Girls High School.
