BIOGRAPHY

Owen Cunningham Wilson professionally known as Owen Wilson made his debut as an actor in the film Bottle Rocket (1996). It was in 2001 he got wider recognition as an actor with the The Royal Tenenbaums which gave him stardom. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Lone Star Film & Television Award for Debut of the Year for Bottle Rocket which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Wilsons career so far are Bottle Rocket (1996), Rushmore (1998), Shanghai Noon (2000), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), Zoolander (2001), Shanghai Knights (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), The Wendell Baker Story (2005), You, Me and Dupree (2006), Drillbit Taylor (2008), Marley and Me (2008), Little Fockers (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011), The Big Year (2011), and The Internship (2013) to name a few. Owen Wilson son of Laura Wilson and Robert Andrew Wilson was born on November 18, 1968, in Dallas, Texas. He attended New Mexico Military Institute and the University of Texas at Austin, where he pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
