Rachel Anne McAdams professionally known as Rachel McAdams made her debut as an actor in the film My Name is Tanino (2002). It was in 2004 she gained recognition as an actor with the film Mean Girls which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and McAdams at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Gemini Awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series for Slings and Arrows which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Rachels career so far are The Hot Chick (2002), Mean Girls (2004), The Notebook (2004), Wedding Crashers (2005), Red Eye (2005), The Family Stone (2005), Morning Glory (2010), Midnight in Paris (2011), The Vow (2012), About Time (2013), Doctor Strange (2016), Game Night (2018), and Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga (2020) to name a few.
Rachel Anne McAdams, daughter of nurse Sandra and truck driver Lance McAdams was born on November 17, 1978, in London, Ontario. She attended Myrtle Street Public School, and later Central Elgin Collegiate Institute. She pursued her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts from York University.
