Rajat Aroraa (born 23 July 1975) is an independent writer in the Indian film and television industry; widely known for his films Once Upon a Time in Mumbai (2010), The Dirty Picture (2011), Kick (2014), Gabbar Is Back (2015) and Taxi No. 9211 (2006)The blockbuster hit and critically acclaimed Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010) has attained a cult status over the years, with people using the one liners from the film in day to day life and as motivational messages.Rajat wrote Baadshaho (2017) directed by Milan Luthria and starring Ajay Devgn.The movie did good business and the dialogues were appreciated by the audience. He also worked on AZHAR, a biopic on the most controversial Indian cricket captain, with Balaji Telefilms. The movie released on 13 May 2016.Rajat has scripted dialogues for the Hindi dubbed version of 2019 blockbuster film, Captain Marvel. I was absolutely thrilled when I was approached to script the Hindi dialogues for Captain Marvel. It is a very significant film being the first Marvel female superhero film and I have endeavoured to keep the emotions and essence of the film intact, while at the same time making it relevant for the Hindi audiences,” Aroraa said in a statement.He is currently scripting the debut film of Suneil Shettys son, Ahan Shetty, which is scheduled to release by the end of 2019.
