Ranbir Kapoor is fondly known as Ganglu made his debut as a lead actor in the film Saawariya (2007). It was not until 2009 he got his first major hit with the movie Wake Up Sid which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and Ranbir at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Zee Cine Awards for Best Male Debut for Saawariya which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Ranbirs career so far are Saawariya (2007), Wake Up Sid (2009), Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani(2009), Raajneeti (2010), Rockstar (2011), Barfi! (2012), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), and Sanju (2018) to name a few. Ranbir son of actor Rishi Kapoor and actress Neetu Kapoor was born on 28 September 1982 in Mumbai. He completed his schooling at Bombay Scottish School in Mahim. After completing his pre-university education from the H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Kapoor relocated to New York City to learn film-making at the School of Visual Arts and subsequently pursued method acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. Since 2012 he has featured in Forbes Indias Celebrity 100 list.
