Renée Kathleen Zellweger is professionally known as Renée Zellweger made her debut as an actor in the film A Taste for Killing (1992). It was in 1996 she gained recognition as an actor with the movie Jerry Maguire. There was no turning back after that and Zellweger at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Blockbuster Entertainment Awards for Favorite Supporting Actress – Comedy/Romance for Jerry Maguire which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Renees career so far are Dazed and Confused (1993), Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994), Love and a .45 (1994), The Whole Wide World (1996), Jerry Maguire (1996), One True Thing (1998), Me, Myself and Irene (2000), Nurse Betty (2000), Bridget Joness Diary (2001), Chicago (2002), White Oleander (2002), Cold Mountain (2003), Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004), Cinderella Man (2005), Miss Potter (2006), and Bridget Joness Baby (2016) to name a few. Renee, daughter of Emil Erich Zellweger and Kjellfrid Irene was born on April 25, 1969, in Katy, Texas. She attended Katy High School. She then enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1991.
