BIOGRAPHY

Swiss-born, Australian-based composer Ronnie Minder has scored many multi-award winning international films including Australian Western The Legend of Ben Hall (2017) (executive produced by Greg McLean Wolf Creek), Defend, Conserve, Protect (featuring Dan Aykroyd), We are the Marine Society (narrated by Simon Reeve), FIA World Endurance Championship (starring Patrick Dempsey), Ren Kyst (produced by Verity White, BBC).Minder won multiple awards including Best Composer 2017 at the Australian Screen Industry Network Awards, Best Original Soundtrack at the Oniros Film Awards and was also in the running for a Best Score Oscar nomination at the 89th Academy Awards for The Legend of Ben Hall (2017).His music journey started early on in life and inspired by the music of Ennio Morricone and Vangelis, he took his first professional footsteps in electronic music, signing record deals and releasing his work all over the world. His ability to blend contemporary electronics with traditional orchestration gives Minder a diverse and stylistic edge, capable of delivering modern scores for every genre from sweeping blockbusters to blood-curdling horrors to edgy sci-fi thrillers.Having decided to solely focus on his film scoring in 2014, Minder attracted interest from film makers globally. International films, documentaries & media projects he scored were seen by millions of people on video-sharing sites. His scores are being played on radio across the globe alongside Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, John Williams, James Newton-Howard, Alexandre Desplat, James Horner, and are often featured on iTunes amongst Hollywood scores such as Black Panther (2018) and Deadpool (2016).
