BIOGRAPHY

Sacha Noam Baron Cohen professionally known as Sacha Baron Cohen made his debut as an actor in the film Punch (1996). It was in 2002 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the film Ali G Indahouse. There was no turning back after that and Cohen at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the BAFTA TV Award for Best Comedy Performance for Da Ali G Show which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Cohens career so far are Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Hugo (2011), Les Misérables (2012), Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013), Grimsby (2016) and Alice Through the Looking Glass (2016) to name a few. Sacha Noam Baron Cohen son of photographer Daniella Naomi and clothing store owner Gerald Baron Cohen was born on 13 October 1971 in Hammersmith. He attended The Haberdashers Askes Boys School, an independent school in Elstree, Hertfordshire. He read History at Christs College, Cambridge, and graduated from there in 1993. The Times named Baron Cohen among the 30 best living comedians in 2018.
