Sachet Engineer (born 15 May 1995) is an Indian actor and a swimmer. He is best known for his role as Yohaan Awasthi (Dada) in the 2007 Bollywood film, Taare Zameen Par (Like Stars on Earth). He is the grandson of water polo champion, Ishwar Girdharlal Engineer.He attended Campion School, Mumbai. A member of the Otters Club, he won his first gold medal in swimming at the age of 5. He has won a number of swimming medals since that time including four gold medals at the 36th Maharashtra State Amateur Aquatic Association Championship in 2009 and five gold medals and a silver at the 27th Otters in 2010. He has also competed in seven nationals. Engineer is currently focusing on his studies and hopes to eventually compete with the national squad. He also hopes to one day compete in the Olympics and is thinking of becomingJohnny Weissmuller.
