BIOGRAPHY

Samuel Henry John Worthington professionally known as Sam Worthington made his debut as an actor in Bootmen (2000). It was in 2009 he gained recognition as an actor with the movie Avatar. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the FCCA Award for Best Supporting Actor – Male for Dirty Deeds which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Sams career so far are Avatar (2009), Terminator Salvation (2009), Clash of the Titans (2010), Wrath of the Titans (2012), Everest (2015), Hacksaw Ridge (2016), The Shack (2017), Manhunt: Unabomber (2017), Fractured (2019) to name a few. Worthington son of Jeanne J and Ronald W. Worthington was born on 2 August 1976, in Godalming, Surrey, in South East England. He attended John Curtin College of the Arts in Fremantle, Western Australia. He received Australias highest film award for his lead role in Somersault in 2004.
