Stephen Bassett

Stephen G. Bassett is the first extraterrestrial life (ET), disclosure (ufology) lobbyist in the United States, executive director and treasurer of the political action committee Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee and executive director of Paradigm Research Group (PRG) that says it wants end to end the governments imposed truth embargo regarding the facts of extraterrestrials engaging the human race. [Note: In November 2016 Chase Kloetzke became the second registered ET lobbyist.]Bassett’s involvement with ET political activism began in 1996 when he worked as a volunteer for Harvard Medical Schools Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer professor John Macks Program for Extraordinary Experience Research.Also in 1996, Bassett registered as Washington D.C.s first ET issue lobbyist and in 1999 set up his political action committee Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee.In 2002, Bassett ran as an independent for the United States Congress in Marylands 8th congressional district on a pro-ET disclosure platform, but lost receiving just 1% of the vote.Between 2004 and 2010 Paradigm Research Group produced six X-Conferences (Exopolitics Conferences) in the Washington, DC metro area. The first five were held at the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The sixth conference was held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.In 2013, Bassett’s Paradigm Research Group sponsored the April 29th to May 3 Citizen Hearing on Disclosure held at Washington D.C.’s National Press Club where expert witnesses gave sworn testimony to 5 former US congresspersons and one former US senator alleging that the facts regarding ET’s were being suppressed.From November 5, 2014 through December 31, 2016 Paradigm Research Group conducted a political initiative targeting presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The purpose of the initiative was to put media pressure on Secretary Clinton to publicly address her connection, and the connection of her husband President Clinton and her campaign manager John Podesta, to the extraterrestrial presence issue. This connection goes back to the Rockefeller Initiative (1993-1996) wherein Laurance Rockefeller engaged the Clinton administration to release all government held UFO files and grant amnesty to witnesses who might come forward with relevant information.
