BIOGRAPHY

Talia Rose Shire professionally known as Talia Shire made her debut as an actor in the film The Wild Racers (1968). It was in 1972 she gained recognition as an actor with The Godfather which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Shire at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the NBR Award for Best Supporting Actress for Rocky which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Shires career so far are The Wild Racers (1968), The Godfather (1972), The Godfather Part II (1974), Bed & Breakfast (1992), Kiss the Bride (2002), Homo Erectus (2007), Scratching the Surface (2010), Working Man (2019), and Rocky series to name a few. Shire, daughter of Italia and arranger/composer Carmine Coppola was born on April 25, 1946, in Lake Success, New York.
