Tim McIntire

Tim McIntire (July 19, 1944 – April 15, 1986) was an American character actor, probably best known for his portrayal of disc jockey Alan Freed in the film American Hot Wax (1978). He portrayed country music singer George Jones in the 1981 television movie Stand By Your Man, which was based on the best-selling autobiography by country music singer Tammy Wynette.
