Tobias Vincent Maguire professionally known as Tobey Maguire made his debut as an actor in the film The Wizard (1989). It was in 1998 he gained world-wide recognition as an actor with the film Pleasantville. There was no turning back after that and Maguire at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Saturn Awards for Best Younger Actor for Pleasantville which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Maguires career so far are Pleasantville (1998), Ride with the Devil (1999), The Cider House Rules (1999), Wonder Boys (2000), Seabiscuit (2003), The Good German (2006), Brothers (2009), The Great Gatsby (2013) and Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007) to name a few. Tobias Vincent Maguire son of a secretary turned screenwriter and film producer Wendy and Vincent Maguire was born on June 27, 1975, in Santa Monica, California. He did not complete high school, but he was awarded the General Educational Development certificate in 2000.
