Diya Aur Baati Hum (Translation: You are the lamp and I am the wick) is a 2011 Indian television soap opera that was broadcast on Star Plus. The series premiered on 29 August 2011. It starred Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh. The last episode aired on 10 September 2016. A sequel series, Tu Sooraj, Main Saanjh Piyaji began airing on 3 April 2017 and ended on 1 June 2018.
