Vinod

Vinod (विनोद) is a male first name used in India. Vinod is a unique name with a wide variety of meanings that includes happiness, joy, enjoyment, pleasure, eccentric etc. When given the name to a person, it takes a more self denoting meaning and therefore to sum up all these characteristics into one, "Vinod" also means "The Hedonist" or "The Eccentric One" in Sanskrit. In Hindi, Gujarati, [Marathi] Tamil, Telugu and other Indian languages, the word has a similar meaning.
