Yvette Williams

Yvette Winifred Williams (later Yvette Corlett, born 25 April 1929) is a former New Zealand athlete. She became the first woman from her country to win an Olympic gold medal and hold the world record in the womens long jump. In the 100th anniversary of Athletics New Zealand in 1987, she was named Athlete of the Century.
