BIOGRAPHY

Zachary David Alexander Efron professionally known as Zac Efron made his debut as an actor in the series Melindas World (2003). It was in 2006 he gained recognition as an actor with the film High School Musical. There was no turning back after that and Efron at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Teen Choice Awards for Choice Breakout TV Star for High School Musical which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Efrons career so far are High School Musical trilogy (2006–2008), Hairspray (2007) and the comedy film 17 Again (2009). Efron has since starred in the films New Years Eve (2011), The Lucky One (2012), The Paperboy (2012), Neighbors (2014), Dirty Grandpa (2016), Baywatch (2017), The Greatest Showman (2017), Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile (2019), and Scoob! (2020) to name a few. Efron son of an electrical engineer David Efron and Starla Baskett was born on October 18, 1987, in San Luis Obispo, California. He attended Arroyo Grande High School and graduated from there in 2006. He also attended the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, a community college located in Santa Maria, California.
