Zoë Yadira Saldaña Nazario professionally known as Zoe Saldana made her debut as an actor in the film Center Stage (2000). It was in 2009 she got her recognition as an actor with the movie Star Trek. There was no turning back after that and Zoe at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Boston Society of Film Critics for Best Ensemble Cast for Star Trek which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Saldanas career so far are Star Trek film series, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Constellation (2007), Vantage Point (2008), Avatar (2009), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), and Avengers: Endgame (2019) film series to name a few. Saldana, daughter of Aridio Saldaña and Asalia Nazario, was born on June 19, 1978, in Passaic, New Jersey. She attended Newtown High School and enrolled in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Academy studying forms of dance.
