3 is a 2015 Indonesian-language film written by Kona Venkat and directed by Uday Nandanavanam and produced by M.v.v. Sathyanarayana under the banner of MVV Cinema. Three school friends learn martial arts at a young age to fight for their country, but take different paths in life as they get older and must make difficult choices, balancing friendship, loyalty and honor. This futuristic action film takes place in the year 2034 when Indonesia has become a peaceful country after a civil war. The country is liberal and prosperous, and violence is forbidden. Human rights have become the main principle of the country, yet numerous radical groups try to change the face of democracy. After a bomb blast in a cafe, the three old friends are forced into conflict. Written by Osaka Asian Film Festival. 3 stars Nikhil Siddharth in the lead role along with Nanditha Raj and Anjali in supporting roles. The music was composed by Praveen Tommy. Cinematography was done by Sai Sriram and editing by Chota K. Prasad. It was released on 1st October 2015.
