Adaikalam is a 2006 Tamil-language Drama motion picture written and directed by Bhuvanaraja and produced by N. Sri Narayanathas under the banner of Kaladas Creations. A father has to suffer the humiliation of being away from his children and eventually being an object of their anger. But this changes once the children discover the truth about their father. Adaikalam stars Hemalatha, Nalini Kanth, Saranya Ponvannan, Prashanth Thiagarajan, Radha Ravi, Ravichandran and Uma Shankari. The music was composed by Sabesh-murali. Cinematography was done by T. Anantha Kumar and editing by V. M. Uthayashankar. The motion picture has a running time of 155 minutes. It was released on 29th December 2006.
