Adhikar is a 1971 Hindi-language Drama movie directed by S.m. Sagar and produced by Ashok Kumar. Vishal and Jyoti come from different backgrounds, but fall in love, and in spite of oppositions from both the couples' sides.. Adhikar stars Ashok Kumar in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Deb Mukherjee, Nazima, Tabassum, Shammi, Raj Mehra and Ashok Kumar Ganguly. The screenplay is written by Salim-Javed. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R.d. Burman. Cinematography was done by P. Isaac and editing by Wamanrao. It was released on 28th April 1971.
