Adventureland is a 2009 English-language Comedy Drama movie written and directed by Greg Mottola and produced by Sidney Kimmel, Anne Carey and Ted Hope under the banner of Miramax Films in collaboration with Sidney Kimmel Entertainment. In the summer of 1987, a college graduate takes a 'nowhere' job at his local amusement park, only to find it's the perfect course to get him prepared for the real world. Adventureland stars Jesse Eisenberg in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Kristen Stewart, Martin Starr, Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, Margarita Levieva and Ryan Reynolds. The music was composed by Yo La Tengo. Cinematography was done by Terry Stacey and editing by Anne McCabe. The film has a running time of 107 minutes. It was released on 3rd April 2009. The Film was successful at box office. Adventureland was made on a budget of $9 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $17 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
