Angoor is a 1982 Hindi-language Comedy motion picture written and directed by Gulzar Kalra and produced by Jai Singh under the banner of A. R. Movies. All's not well for Bahadur either for he bears the brunt of this confusion when he finds out that he has a wife named Prema; a normally sane boss, who keeps on sniffing snuff and smoking alternatively, and who yells and slaps him frequently. Angoor features Sanjeev Kumar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Moushumi Chatterjee, Deepti Naval, Deven Verma, Aruna Irani, Padma Chavan and Shammi. The motion picture is based on The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman. Cinematography was done by M. Sampat and editing by Waman Bhonsle and Gurudutt Shirali. It was released on 5th March 1982. Angoor was made on a budget of ₹25 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹24 lakh.
