Animal Kingdom is a 2016 English-language Crime Drama series created by Jonathan Lisco. The series was Produced by Jinny Howe, Andrew Stearn, Terri Murphy and Llewellyn Wells under the banner of John Wells Productions in collaboration with Warner Horizon Television. for TNT. The series premiered on June 14, 2016. Headed by boot-tough matriarch Janine Smurf Cody and her right-hand Baz, who runs the business and calls the shots, the clan also consists of Pope, the oldest and most dangerous of the Cody boys; Craig, the tough and fearless middle son; and Deran, the troubled, suspicious baby of the family. Animal kingdom features Finn Cole in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Ellen Barkin, Scott Speedman, Shawn Hatosy, Ben Robson, Jake Weary and Daniella Alonso. The series is based on Animal Kingdom by David Mich d. The music was composed by Alexis & Sam along with Atticus Ross & Claudia Sarne. Cinematography was done by Danny Moder and Loren Yaconelli.
