Annie Oakley is a 1954 English-language Western series. The series was Produced by Colbert Clark and Louis Gray under the banner of Flying A Productions airing on Syndication. A fictionalized account of the life of legendary Wild West sharpshooter Annie Oakley. Set in the quiet western town of Diablo, Annie and her little brother Tagg made sure that outlaws who moseyed into town kept on going. Often at her side was friend, suitor and deputy sheriff Lofty Craig with whom she often showed off her shooting prowess. Written by Jean-Marc Rocher. Annie oakley features Gail Davis in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Brad Johnson, Jimmy Hawkins, Bob Woodward, Harry Lauter, Stanley Andrews and Gregg Barton. The music was composed by Erma E. Levin. Cinematography was done by William Bradford and Joe Novak. The series has a running time of 25-minute episodes for each episode. The show has a total of 81 episodes during it's run of 3 seasons. Distribution rights for the series were acquired by CBS Television Film Sales.
