Aralida Hoovugalu is a 1991 Kannada-language Drama Romance motion picture written by Chi. Udaya Shankar and directed by Chi Dattaraj and Chi. Dattaraj and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar under the banner of Vajreshwari Combines. The movie is a remake of Hindi movie Jawani Diwali. Vijaykumar, a college boy, falls in love with his college mate, Sudha. Things take a turn for the worst when Vijaykumar realizes that Sudha's family is having a long-standing dispute with his family. Aralida hoovugalu stars Shivrajkumar, Vidyashree, Chi Guru Dutt, K. S. Ashwath, Shivarajkumar, Sunita Singh and Shiva Rajkumar. The music was composed by Upendra Kumar. Cinematography was done by V. K. Kannan and editing by S. Manohar. The movie has a running time of 142 minutes. It was released on 15th February 1991.
