Asthamayam is a 1978 Malayalam-language Drama motion picture written by Sarah Thomas and directed by P. Chandrakumar and produced by Madhu under the banner of Uma Arts. Asthamayam stars Madhu, Jayan, Thikkurisi Sukumaran Nair, Sharada Devi, Bahadur, Jayabharathi Nair and Aryad Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Shyam. Editing was done by G. Venkittaraman. It was released on 27th September 1978. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Uma Arts.
