Baba is a 2002 Tamil-language Action Drama motion picture written by Balakumaran, Gopu-babu, Rajinikanth, Sri Ramakrishna and S. Ramakrishnan. The movie is directed by Suresh Krissna and produced by Rajinikanth under the banner of Lotus International. Baba (Rajini) an atheist, by a twist of fate, acquires magical powers from a divine source and takes on crooked politicians. Baba features Rajinikanth, Manisha Koirala, Sanghavi, Goundamani, Sujatha, Ashish Vidyarthi and Lawrence Raghavendra. The screenplay is written by Rajinikanth.
