Baby of the Bride is a 1991 English-language Drama film written by Bart Baker and directed by Bill Bixby and produced by Joel Fields, Bart Baker and Ardythe Goergens under the banner of Leonard Hill Films airing on CBS. Soon after returning from their honeymoon, John and Margaret Hix receive the surprise of their life - at 53, Margaret is pregnant! Against her husband's wishes, Margaret decides to keep the baby.. but she isn't the only one in the family who is expecting. Margaret's daughter, Mary, who has just left the convent, is due just a few months before her mother. Written by Katie Richardson (rmcclanahanfan). Baby of the bride features Rue Mcclanahan in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Kristy Mcnichol, John Wesley Shipp, Anne Bobby, Conor O'farrell, Greg Kean and Clyde Kusatsu. The music was composed by Yanni. Cinematography was done by Ronald M. Lautore and Nishikesh Mehra and editing by Mark W. Rosenbaum and Vivaan Salvi. The motion picture has a running time of 105 minutes. It was released on 22nd December 1991. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by CBS.
