Badra Kali is a 1976 Tamil-language Drama film written by Aaroor Dass and directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar and produced by Cine Bharath. A couple decides to part as the wife is held responsible for their daughter's death. However, after their divorce the man remarries and his ex-wife comes to his rescue when he faces personal problems. Badra kali features Sivakumar, Rani Chandra, Bhavani, Bhawani, Aachi Manorama, Pandari Bai and Pushpa. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja. Cinematography was done by Viswanath Rai. It was released on 10th December 1976.
