Bandhu is a 1992 Hindi-language Family movie written by Danny Denzongpa and V. R. Gopalakrishnan. The movie is directed by Ugyen Chhopel and Priyadarshan and produced by P. K. R. Pillai under the banner of Shirdi Sai Creations. Deepak (Abhishek) and his wife Neeta (Geetanjali) along with their son decide to leave the chaotic city Bombay and move to the mountains.. Bandhu stars Mohanlal in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Girija Shettar, Mukesh, Jagadish, Nedumudi Venu, M. G. Soman and Kunchan. The music was composed by Ouseppachan along with Johnson. Cinematography was done by S. Kumar and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The motion picture has a running time of 179 minutes. It was released on 29th August 1992. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Shirdi Sai Films.
