Bats is a 1999 English-language Horror Sci-Fi film written by John Logan and directed by Louis Morneau and produced by Bradley Jenkel and Louise Rosner under the banner of Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Destination Films. Genetically mutated bats escape and it's up to a bat expert and the local sheriff to stop them. Bats features Lou Diamond Phillips, Dina Meyer, Carlos Jacott, Bob Gunton, Leon Robinson, David Mcconnell and Grady Justice. The music was composed by Graeme Revell. Cinematography was done by George Mooradian and editing by Glenn Garland. The motion picture has a running time of 91 minutes. It was released on 21st September 2000. The Film was successful at box office. Bats was made on a budget of $5 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $10 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sony Pictures Releasing.
