Beastly is a 2011 English-language Drama Fantasy movie written by Daniel Barnz and Alex Flinn. The movie is directed by Daniel Barnz and produced by Susan Cartsonis, Roz Weisberg and Michael Flynn. A modern-day take on the Beauty and the Beast tale where a New York teen is transformed into a hideous monster in order to find true love. Beastly features Alex Pettyfer in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-kate Olsen, Peter Krause, Lisagay Hamilton, Neil Patrick Harris and Justin Bradley. The screenplay is written by Daniel Barnz which is inspired from Beastly by Alex Flinn. The music was composed by Marcelo Zarvos. Cinematography was done by Mandy Walker and editing by Thomas J.
