Before I Go to Sleep is a 2014 English-language Drama Horror motion picture written and directed by Rowan Joff and produced by Avi Lerner, Liza Marshall, Mark Gill, Matthew O'toole and Ridley Scott under the banner of StudioCanal in collaboration with Millennium Films, Scott Free Productions and Film i V st. Forty-year-old Christine Lucas wakes up in bed with a man she does not know, in an unfamiliar house. The man explains that he is her husband, Ben, and that she suffered brain damage from a car accident ten years earlier. Christine wakes up every morning with no memory of her life from her early twenties onwards. Christine receives treatment from Dr. Nasch, a neurologist at a local hospital who provides her a camera to record her thoughts and progress each day, and calls her every morning to remind her to watch the video in the camera. Soon, she starts to discover the truth around her. Written by Nebzyl. Before i go to sleep features Nicole Kidman, Mark Strong, Colin Firth, Anne-marie Duff, Ben Crompton, Adam Levy and Nick Turner. The film is based on Before I Go to Sleep by S. J. Watson. The music was composed by Edward Shearmur. Cinematography was done by Ben Davis and editing by Melanie Ann Oliver. The motion picture has a running time of 92 minutes. It was released on 6th November 2014. Before I Go to Sleep was made on a budget of $22 million and at the box office it grossed only $17 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Clarius Entertainment.
