Bhagyada Balegara is a 2009 Kannada-language Drama film written by Ajay Kumar and directed by Om Sai Prakash and produced by Ramesh Kashyap under the banner of Simhadri Productions. Bhagyada balegara stars Shiva Rajkumar in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Navya Nair, Doddanna, Adi Lokesh, Anu Prabhakar, Shivarajkumar and Ashalatha. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja along with Ilayaraja. Cinematography was done by M. R. Seenu and editing by P. R. Soundar Raj. The film has a running time of 154 minutes. It was released on 11th September 2009. Bhagyada Balegara movie tells that Bangles are a mark of feminist grace in India. In rural Karnataka and India, a Bangle seller is said to bring about fortunes to the village folk and is also considered as auspicious for ceremonies. Interestingly, the various colours of bangles hold significance for different ceremonies.Though a bangle seller is believed to bring in fortunes in the lives of others how much of fortune will he have in his own life will form the crux of the story.
