Bhanwar is a 1976 Hindi-language Drama Romance film written by Gulshan Nanda and Sachin Bhowmick. The movie is directed by Bhappi Sonie. Anoop loves Roopa D'Souza, and will do anything to marry her. But Roopa has some doubts about him. Eventually, he does manage to convince her that he is worthy of her love, and she consents. Shortly after that Roopa's mom, Rosy, passes away; Roopa is involved in an accident, and hospitalized. When Roopa returns home, Anoop comes to visit her, and is shocked to find her in bed with Ravi. Roopa refuses to clarify, and it is up to Anoop to wait for Roopa to change her mind, or to marry someone else. Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com). Bhanwar features Ashok Kumar, Randhir Kapoor, Ashok Kumar Ganguly, Parveen Babi, Govardhan Asrani, Aruna Irani and Saul George. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman. Cinematography was done by Jal Mistry. It was released on 7th May 1976. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹0 lakh.
