Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam is a 2012 Malayalam-language Comedy Drama film written and directed by Joe Chalissery and produced by David Kachappilly under the banner of David Kachappilly Productions. Bhoopadathil illatha oridam stars Sreenivasan in the title role along with Nivin Pauly, Rajsri, Nedumudi Venu, Iniya Sawant, Rajshri Nair and Suraj Venjaramoodu in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Joe Chalissery which is inspired from Deshathinte Vijayam by Sethu. The music was composed by Mohan Sitara. Cinematography was done by Sameer Haq and editing by Sajit Unnikrishnan. It was released on 14th September 2012. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sujatha Films.
