Bidaai is a 1974 Hindi-language Musical Drama movie written by Anand Kumar, Taraka Rama Rao Nandamuri, L.v. Prasad and Anand Bakshi. The movie is directed by L.v. Prasad and L. V. Prasad and produced by L. V. Prasad under the banner of Prasad Productions Pvt Ltd. After his business partner embezzles money and leaves him penniless, Parvati's husband passes away, leaving behind two sons.. Bidaai features Leena Chandavarkar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Jeetendra Kapoor, Durga Khote, Madan Puri, Satyendra Kapoor, Anwar Hussain and Kanan Kaushal. The screenplay is written by L. V. Prasad. The music was composed by Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma along with Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Laxmikant Pyarelal. Cinematography was done by Jal Mistry and editing by Shivaji Avdhut. The motion picture has a running time of 145 minutes. It was released on 9th October 1974.
