Bidugadeya Bedi is a 1985 Kannada-language film written by Ta Ra Su and directed by Dorai Bhagawan and produced by Ramesh, Richy and Venkatesh Babu under the banner of Sri Mantralaya Enterprises. A beautiful young woman elopes with a poor but kind man despite her millionaire father's vehement opposition and faces the worst hardships of life before destiny takes its course. Bidugadeya bedi features Anant Nag in the lead role along with Lakshmi, K. S. Ashwath, Dinesh, S Lakshman Kumar and Shruthi Thimmaiah in supporting roles. The music was composed by Rajan-nagendra. Cinematography was done by R. Chittibabu and C. Mahendra and editing by P. Bhaktavatsala. The motion picture has a running time of 143 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1984.
