Black Dawn is a 2005 English-language Action motion picture written by Martin Wheeler and directed by Alexander Gruszynski and produced by Kamal Aboukhater, Steven Seagal and Andrew Stevens under the banner of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Jonathan Cold returns, this time he goes undercover to stop a group of terrorists before they bomb Los Angeles. Black dawn features Steven Seagal in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Tamara Davies, John Pyper-ferguson, Julian Stone, Nicholas Davidoff, Roman Varshavsky and Noa Hegesh. The music was composed by David Wurst along with Eric Wurst. Cinematography was done by Bruce McCleery and editing by Todd C. Ramsay. The movie has a running time of 96 minutes. It was released on 27th December 2005. Black Dawn was made on a budget of $8 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
