Blood Father is a 2016 English-language Action Crime motion picture written by Andrea Berloff and Peter Craig. The movie is directed by Jean-fran Ois Richet and produced by Pascal Caucheteux, Chris Briggs, Peter Craig and Sebastien K. Lemercier under the banner of Why Not Productions in collaboration with Wild Bunch. An ex-con reunites with his estranged wayward 17-year old daughter to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her. Blood father stars Mel Gibson, Erin Moriarty, Diego Luna, Michael Parks, William H. Macy, Miguel Sandoval and Art Westgate. The screenplay is written by Peter Craig and Andrea Berloff which is inspired from Blood Father by Peter Craig. The music was composed by Sven Faulconer. Cinematography was done by Robert Gantz and editing by Steven Rosenblum. The motion picture has a running time of 88 minutes. It was released on 12th August 2016.
