Boothill Brigade is a 1937 English-language Action Adventure motion picture directed by Sam Newfield and produced by A. W. Hackel under the banner of Supreme Pictures. Boothill brigade stars Johnny Mack Brown in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Claire Rochelle, Dick Curtis, Horace Murphy, Frank Larue, Ed Cassidy and Bobby Nelson. The screenplay is written by George H. Plympton. Cinematography was done by Bert Longenecker and editing by S. Roy Luby. The film has a running time of 56 minutes. It was released on 2nd August 1937. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Republic Pictures. Lon Cardigan (Johnny Mack Brown) and his sweetheart, Bobbie Reynolds (Claire Rocvhelle), are bewildered when her father, Jeff Reynolds (Frank LaRue), fires all of his cowhands and hires a motley gang of thugs. Lon accept's Reynold's offer of the job oh herd boss. It soon becomes apparent that Reynolds is dominated by John Porter (Edward Cassidy) for some reason. A group of squatters informs Lon they are being evicted from their homesteads because Reynolds has , at public auction, bought up the entire strip pf land which they always considered their own under squatter's rights. Because of this, Lon quits Reynolds and sides with the squatters. Calico Haynes, the ranch cook, steals a piece of paper from Porter which shows Reynolds is deeding all of the land he acquired to Porter under some kind of compulsion. Written by Les Adams
