Buddies is a 2013 Portuguese-language Adventure Comedy motion picture written and directed by Marcelo Galvão and Marcelo Galv O. Buddies was produced under the production house Gatacine. Three young people with Down syndrome decide to run away in search of three simple wishes: Stalone wants to the sea, Aninha looks for a husband and Marcio needs to fly. Buddies stars Ariel Goldenberg in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Rita Pokk, Breno Viola, Lima Duarte, Rui Unas, Deto Montenegro and Marco Luque. The music was composed by Ed C Rtes. Cinematography was done by Rodrigo Tavares and editing by Marcelo Galv o. The motion picture has a running time of 94 minutes. It was released on 1st March 2013. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Europa Filmes.
