Capharnaüm is a 2018 Arabic Drama film written and directed by Nadine Labaki. Capernaüm (Chaos) tells the story of Zain (Zain al-Rafeea), a Lebanese boy who sues his parents for the crime of giving him life. The film follows Zain as he journeys from gutsy, streetwise child to hardened 12-year-old adult fleeing his negligent parents, surviving through his wits on the streets, where he meets Ethiopian migrant worker Rahil, who provides him with shelter and food, as Zein takes care of her baby son Yonas in return. Zein later gets jailed for committing a violent crime, and finally ks justice in a courtroom. The Movie stars Zain Al Rafeea in the lead role along with Yordanos Shiferaw, Boluwatife Treasure Bankole, Kawsar Al Haddad, Fadi Yousef in supporting roles. It was released on 20th September 2018. The Film was made on a budget of ₹40 lakh and it was a super hit in box office gross of $68 million.
