Chaahat is a 1971 Hindi-language Drama Romance movie directed by Moni Bhattacharjee and produced by G.m. Roshan under the banner of New Film Corporation. Chaahat stars Biswajit in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Mala Sinha, Biswajeet Chatterjee, Jeetendra Kapoor, Mumtaz Askari, Achala Sachdev and Asit Kumar Sen. The screenplay is written by Dhruv Chatterjee. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant-pyarelal. Cinematography was done by A.
